MyDsReader is a device which allows a blind user to read e-books in any format: pdf, word, txt and most importantly DAISY. The core of this device is text to speech technology: any documents that contains text can be spoken to the user. The interface is very intuitive and based on touch and voice commands. The user can also access his email and reply using voice clips. An agenda is included and is useful to organize your day and take notes as well.
MyDsReader is the lightest device of its kind.
When the device is turned on for the first time an audio guide will explain how to use it. The languages supported at the moment are: UK English, US English, Spanish and German. New languages can be added with little effort.
